Solomon Benjamin

Bio

Solomon Benjamin is a consultant and independent researcher on issues of urban governance and economies operating out of Bangalore in South India. With a PhD in Urban Studies from MIT, and Masters in housing policy, his areas of work have been on issues of urban governance, land policy, poverty, and employment issues. He has worked in projects with Sarai and the Alternative Law Forum, is a moderator of the Urban Study Group, and has also been associated with international research projects. He has worked as a consultant to the UN, the World Bank, DfID, and the Swiss Development Cooperation and has published in several journals and contributed chapters to books on governance and employment issues.
